Is it people like the mother of the octuplets and Berkeley’s public arts program….?

that are breaking the bank in California, and not the illegal immigrants? Is it OK for some to “break the bank” just because they are U.S. Citizens?

Berkeley Artist Paid $196,000 For Dog Humping Statue

Artist Scott Donahue of Emeryville, Calif., was paid $196,000 of taxpayer money from Berkeley’s public arts program to sculpt artistic medallions.

Taxpayers may have to cover octuplet mom’s costs

Even before the 33-year-old single, unemployed mother gave birth to octuplets last month, she had been caring for her six other children with the help of $490 a month in food stamps, plus Social Security disability payments for three of the youngsters.

The Suleman octuplets’ medical costs have not been disclosed, but in 2006, the average cost for a premature baby’s hospital stay in California was $164,273, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Eight times that equals $1.3 million.

Yes, I agree with that.

That behavior was irresponsible, abusing the system and many Americans do the same. You can see a woman with 4-5 children all of them from different fathers, and then you see them collecting benefits because the more they have, more benefits they collect. And then they continue enjoying the pleasures in life without protecting themselves and popping more children, and letting the government to take care of their babies.
