Conservatives – what do you want American health care to look like?

We hear a lot of complaining about the current bill, so I want to know what you propose for health care reform (or if you think our health care needs absolutely no reform).

Both sides agree the system needs reform.
1. Allow nationwide selling for all insurance plans, across state lines. Competition lowers prices.
2. Form high risk pools partly subsidized, for poor saps who have expensive pre-existing conditions like cancer or diabetes, because it is hard for them to get new insurance. They do need help, this is important.
3. Make everyone I mean EVERYONE pay a deductible every single time they get service, prescription or whatever. Between $4 and $50. This is because I know firsthand that when it becomes FREE then people just go for hangnails and sniffles. I realize those with chronic diseases will pay more, but that is life.
4. Medicaid quit paying for Viagra, and unnecessary drugs. People can buy their own frivolous things like Botox, Viagra and a bunch of other stuff.
5. REFORM the tort system to reduce frivolous lawsuits AND reduce greatly unnecessary tests and procedures that doctors do only to make it look like they have done everything. This is called defensive medicine and it is all due to dumb malpractice suits.
6. Take about 1200 pages of loopholes out of the current healthcare deals that give extra special deals to the huge unions and other special interests.
7. Quit providing free medical care for illegal immigrants. Period.

See? This is less than one page, so why do we need 1500 pages of special interest?
