What happened to the Democrats being transparent about Health Care texts and posting it online before a vote?

I thought Nancy Pelosi promised to make the Final Health Care texts public, 72 hours before they move to vote on it and pass Health Care overhaul? Now they are balking at the idea of posting it online, what are they hiding?

Never and I mean never believe what a politician says. Always look at their record, the past performance is the best predictor of any future performance. That holds true in many things, politics is only one.

What bothers me is many legislators voted for a stimulus bill, and other legislation too, without reading them. Besides the health bill I am hearing about is in the neighborhood of 1500 pages. I can’t read that much legalese in 72 hours and I doubt I could find the good and the bad in several times that many hours.

We aren’t supposed to know what is in any bill, the amendments alone are ridiculously long and in many cases so far afield that you can’t possibly relate them to the parent bill.

There isn’t a man, woman or child that would run any business, even a cool aid stand the way the political parties are allowed to run this nation. You might want to consider joining me; I don’t vote for incumbents often enough to have it be statistically significant in my voting record.

Will Rogers said we should change politicians and babies’ diapers frequently and for identical reasons.

IMO we should throw the whole bunch out and start from scratch.
