Health tips-small things to add to your day to be healthier?

I'm in a welfare committee @ work and we are trying to reach a daily calendar that has tips for healthier … for example park farther to the park, drink 8 glasses of water, add fruit to your meal … you get the idea. What are some simple things we can add to have the people to be healthier?

Stop smoking if you smoke. Get a pedometer to see how many steps a day's walk. Join a gym, better yet, go to a gym with your spouse or co-worker or friend to have someone to back.
