Health Net, inc. is being sued for paying its employees lucrative bonuses to drop sick patients who were receiving too much benefits.
Patsy Bates has paid her premiums for 3 years, then was dropped in the middle of chemotherapy treatments for breast cancer.
But hey, it’s legal, and the company makes money off it, so it must be good capitalism, right? I’m sure a couple buck will trickle down to Ms. Patsy.
The current health care system is a joke. The US spends more money per person among 1st world countries yet our life expendicy are the lowest.
