Doing a project on Greek culture?

Im doing a project of cultural diversity for my health class, and my Greek culture. What I wanted know was, are the Greeks, the patriarchal organization of the family (father is at home) or matrilineal (mother runs the household). Furthermore, it is rude to eye contact with them or not. They also have health beliefs and practices that is different from the American people.

The Greek culture is still an organization patriarchal family. It's rude to make eye contact and have similar beliefs with the Europeans and Americans, because they are Europeans. Most are Christian (Orthodox). The old believe in the evil eye and have some sort of spiritual way to get rid of him.
