Final Health Care Bill Online

Would it be a good thing if the government had a monthly online vote on issues, to get the peoples thoughts?

Like “Do you support Government Health-care?” And possible a few different, options to it.

There could be a area where people could read about bills up for vote, possible future bills, and ideas no matter how absurd. And then be able so say whether or not you’d support it.

Of course it wouldn’t be the final say in what’s going on in Washington, but they would know what we think about different issues.

Coolest thing is it would be non-biased, straight from you to them.
Just thinking it would be nice if the government could involve the people more, since we’re the ones that have to work and live here.

The government does more polling than you can imagine. They know exactly what the people want and feel on any given subject. When you see something going forward (health care) despite polls that show it is poorly received, you know it is because the government thinks it knows better than we.
