This applies very well to college students. They did a study on college students and asked them around what time of the year did they get sick most often. Most students said around finals because there was so much stress and demand; that it took away from their diet, sleep and exercise.
Stress- The main reason why people get sick.
Diet- Having a diet rich in antioxidants, zinc and vitamin c helps reduce aging and defends the body.
Sleep- Most of your bodies activities go on when you’re sleeping. Study was done on people who did not have a good nights sleep; found that their bodies natural killer cell production was reduced by 28 percent.
Exercise- Known to strengthen your bodies immune system if done 3-5 times a week.
Avoid stess as much as possible. It’ll literally bring you down to the very bottom.
Eat, sleep and exercise well and you’ll be on your way to getting sick no more than once a year. It works wonders for me.
