I'm sure you've heard all the success stories – all those who have made millions sitting on your laptop keyboard pounding … Yes, you guessed it! The mass media – is all the rage and more and more people are jumping on board every day. Including me …
It all started for me as another way to promote my company's Human Capital Management Institute. Although I'm pretty good with technology, the real question remains: "Is this just a new way to make friends and connections? "Can you really generate revenue for your business using social media? And, seriously, How long one needs to spend doing this?
Well, here's my real story of how one of my clients came to my website (and me) to through social media. No other marketing or sales effort! First, let's talk about what you need to do to make this work. Here is step by step.
Launching a website that includes an opt-in box.

Now that you've covered the basics, here's how it worked for one of my clients.

Do I have the most followers in Twitter? No! I have more friends and fans on Facebook? No! Do I have to impress anyone with the large number of people I am with LinkedIn? No! Although the response to all these questions is no, I still generate business using social media, and my website! If I can do, you can too!
