How would you start an english paper about Health and Medicine?

my teacher gave me the subject Health and Medicine and we have to write two different ones. one is Expository which means it explains the facts, information, causes, effects,and changes over time. adn the other is persuasive which means: offer some soultions and your views on how this topic has changed and how it will change over the years to come.
So please i really need help. this is worth like my whole grade i just need suggestions.

All papers start with a thesis statement or topic sentence which tells what the paper
will be about. You need to decide what topics your papers are going to talk about.
Both subjects are very general in nature. Narrow both down to one subject in each
category and take it from there.
