Health Information Management Technology

Does this make sense?
I already have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, but I want to make a career change to a completely different field, Health Information Management. Would it make sense to get an associate’s degree in Health Information Technology even though I have a bachelor’s degree. Or is that going backwards? I don’t want to get a master’s degree.
Instead of getting an A.A, trying taking some training programs or courses that relate to Health Information Management. With a B.S and those courses to give you a starting ground, you can possibly start your career because the B.S will get you in the door. You could complete an M.S in the same two years that it takes for an A.A.
