Can we agree that one caveat of Federal Government-run health care is Illegals will stop leeching health care?
Since states and communities previously had so much leeway in determining the accessibility of health insurance, so many illegal immigrants mooched off free coverage on taxpayer dollars.
At least now, one would have to be in the US legally to get government-sponsored health insurance, right?
And the private insurers, since they have high premiums, would effectively shut out illegals (since they tend to be poorer)?
So could this be an unintended positive good that comes out of Health Care Reform?
wrong. All it is proposing to do is allow existing healthcare providers to exclude a lot of the coverage they are currently forced to provide to their patients. For example if the healthcare says you’re allowed for an anual physical now, Obama’s propsal will say if you want your cholesteral checked it will cost this much extra, if you want to stay in the hospital after an operation it is going to cost you this much more. This is a reform only to benefit the healthcare providers as is always the case, I wish people would wake up before they screw us even more. It has nothing to do with illegals getting access to healthcare. They’ll still go to doctors and hospitals who can’t turn them away and the hospitals end up charging exorbitant fees to the gov to pay out for it, that is something completely different.
