What can I do with a Health Science degree?

It’s my last semester in College and of course I’m questioning everything. I wanted to go on and be a nurse, but now I feel like I’m “coping out” and maybe that’s not even what I want to do anymore. Maybe I should do something with patient advocacy, but I’m not so sure I will like all the politics involved with that. I love science and want to do something with that, but I get faint at the sight of blood so maybe nursing isn’t for me?? I just have no idea what my CHOICES are. I wish there was a web page that listed all my career otions…..SOMEONE HELP!

You have a number of options, but the graduate programs will require a solid GPA.

Graduate Degree Programs in:
Physical Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Physician’s Assistant
Public Health

Professions straight from Undergrad:
Pharmaceutical Sales
Human Resources at a Hospital
Representative for Non-Profit i.e. American Red Cross
Community Outreach i.e. Planned Parenthood/ AIDS Education

And if you have a strong Lab background you could also go into Medical Technology.

There are a lot of options, but you’ll need to do some research! I would suggest talking to an Academic Advisor at your college.

What is SIFE BCIT?
