My boyfriend is in the military with no health insurance. I have a feeling he may be very sick, can you help?

Recently my boyfriend and i have just moved into an apartment. We had made our move about 3 months ago and have recently discovered that we have cockroaches. Not long ago (several weeks) I had gotten very sick and had most symptoms of dysentery, the only one that I hadn’t experienced was blood in my stool and vomiting. His father had visited us about a week after I had gotten better and stayed with us for 5 days and the last 2 days he had became sick like i was as well. And now my boyfriend is sick and saying that he has blood in his stool. He is in the military and has no health insurance. I’m very concerned and want him to see a doctor because I understand it can be fatal if untreated. The closest VA hospital is 4 hours away and we are broke right now and have no way of driving to one. Could someone please give me advices to what to do?!

if he is in the military…active duty… he has health insurance. if the nearest VA is 4 hours away, go to the emergency room. make sure he calls tricare within the next 48 hours so they will pay for it
