Moving to New Zealand, Help!?
Hello! My fiance and I are thinking about emigrating to New Zealand, but are having a difficult time deciding where. We love the beach, nature (forest), and a good cultural scene. (Theaters, bookstores, coffee shops, etc). We’re also in our mid 20′s, so we’re looking for a place that would be easy for us to meet other’s in our age group.
Any ideas?!
Oh, and lest I forget, obviously a place that has a good job market. (I’m in the health field, he is in the educational field).

Wellington, no contest, and live in the city not in the burbs. Downtown,Cuba Street, and Manners St and Courtenay Place is what you are looking for, and great bush and beaches nearby.
Mind you Auckland has a better climate and nice nature nearby too. The culture side of it is similar, but you will travel much further for it.
