Universal Health Care – Will Obama’s plan work?

The New reports that Hawaii has dropped its FAILED Universal Health Plan.

Guess you wanted to hear from me the American living in Canada, don’t you? Ah, Universal Health Care does not work, I today just met with my son’s Social Worker at St. Louis Elementary School. She is looking for a paediatrician for my son as well as a OBGYN for me.
The health care in Ontario sucks.
Toronto, Mississauga, is where I live.
I had been treated barbarically when I delivered my son on Nov.20, 2003, I had gone into labor, and there was no room in the hospital for me, so they sent me home in labor. You want this kind of ignorance done when you ‘re in labor. I had to walk back in 7 hours later in labor to finally get the room, the Labor & Delivery room. I had to push on a broomstick handle(without the brush attached), there were no nice knitted coverings over stirrups. There were no stirrups on the hard labor bed, which wasn’t a bed but an examining table. And since I didn’t have $400 in cash with me in my purse, I couldn’t get an epidural shot to dumb the pain. So you keep wanting universal health care. Here’s the ticker. When I finished pushing my son out, he tore me. The doctor stitched me up with no shots of Novocaine. He had the nurse cover my mouth so no one could hear me scream, and the father of my son, he just press himself on my stomach to keep me from flinching upwards in pain as I felt each thread and the tip of the needle go in and out of my vagina. You want UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE?? What is sacrificed is the welfare of the patient. They treat you like a 3rd world nation person. Geez, people how much can I say this to you. I had to bring my own Always pads with me cause they didn’t supply pads for my heavy flow afterwards, I brought my donut seat cushion from home that I had to purchase at Shopper’s Drugmart a few days previously. I was given no help or assistance, just a breakfast, and when the snow stopped, a nice nurse came in and said ,” we need your room now, so you have to leave, your baby will stay a day longer but we need you gone.”
So out I went walking home in snow up to my knees, and a vagina still stinging from the stiches and my body was exhausted.
And no healthcare home visits, that costs money for UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE. I was alone, and still am alone. IF you aren’t sick and dying they don’t care to help you out. 6 years later I am still trying to find a OBGYN that will take care of me at age 49. Gosh, People of USA. I am a USA citizen in Canada, and there are no rights here for USA people, so don’t think coming to Canada will take you with open arms if you hate Obama when he is elected. Canada wants $1,500 up front in fees to be sponsored by a spouse. You married couples, can’t come here unless your husband gets a job first in Canada. And the single women, you have to come here if a Canadian man wants to marry you eventually. A visitor visa is for 6 months, so you can’t stay longer unless you are engaged and prove it to the Immigration.
I regret coming into Canada. Please people my title will be “The Grass is not Greener on the other side, Canada, eh.”
There is no free speech therapy, there is no free healthcare, you have to purchase your eye glasses for cash, and your dentist for cash, provided you have a healthcare provider that your work employer helps you get. You would have to keep your health care provider in addition to the Universal Health care plan (OHIP) Ontario Health Insurance Plan. But OHIP doesn’t cover eye glasses, lenses, or any dental. That is only through your work if they have insurance for you, if not you end up saving up your cash little by little for a visit, and waiting time is forever here.
Sorry, people of USA, my homeland that country I will always love and cherish. Canada is not the answer. Fix USA from within the borders.
That is by NOT VOTING FOR OBAMA in the first place.
