How does the new health-care plan work?

I’m a 25 years old, unemployed, and I recently went back to school to pursue an engineering degree. I’ve had no health coverage for quite a while, and I’m curious to know how the government health care plan will be implemented.

None of the details have been worked out, including premium and benefits. Everything specific is marked “to be determined”. The only thing we know for sure is if the bill passes the increased taxes and Medicare cuts will start in 2010 and the health plan in 2014.

If you have no income you will automatically be place on Medicaid – welfare insurance.
