New Health Choice Reviews
Multiple choice question about testing treatments for AIDS?
You are testing treatments for AIDS sufferers and find that 75% respond very well and 25% show no improvement or decline in health after your experimental treatment. You should:
a. conclude you have proven the effectiveness of the drug
b. conclude that only 75% of AIDS victims should be trated
c. review the results, modify the drug or the dosage, and repeat the experiment
d. discontinue experimentation because 25% patients did not improve
e. begin work on an entirely new drug
I am thinking it’s either A or C. I’m more for C though. What do you think?
C
A cannot be write because 25% showed no improvement, this shows that there may be other factors which have caused improvement fo the 75% than the treatment
