Health Insurance Question?

I graduated from college in May, therefore I am no longer my parents, sure. It is now November and I am working as an "internal" in my work so do not have insurance for my business. I hear there is good to go 6 months without coverage, and 19 November will be 6 months without coverage for me. I never extended insurance coverage for my parents because I did not realize I was not in it until September or so. Your insurance company I said I'm still technically "active" in their system. They will not pay anything in case of injury or w / e, but I have run the list until my parents benefits people be notified that I am "finished" (which makes sense?). Does it seem as though they would not have a lapse in coverage despite technically that havent been covered since May? Anyone have any reccomendations on what to do … I should receive the benefits of my business is January … COBRA is a possibility?

There is nothing magical about "six months". The magic number is "sixty three days." If you are not paying benefits, not covered. Do you deliver a certificate of insurability, through the date of completion? That's what counts. Cobra is not a possibility. Sorry.
