How can I help STOP puppy mills locally?

I know that this question is asked only a million times but I want to ask it personally.
I’ve already done:
1. make a facebook group and fan page [ no myspace ]
2. told my health class about puppy mills and wat they are, and told them not to buy from the local pet store
3.I don’t buy anything from the pet store that sells puppies
4. I’m going to try to protest the store
5. Trying to educate the public wen i have a chance
