public option health care problems
What specific reasons for opposing the Americans have the attention of public health, even as an option?

As I mean, the idea of the Reform of Health Care is the introduction of an option for the public health care. I certainly understand how a tax increases would be part of the problem, but I think that insurance would cost less. And then no one would have to worry about it. I am looking for specific answers, Not only is "socialist", etc. Also, yes, I am Canadian and have lived here all my life, I can not understand otherwise. I hear about the difficulties faced by those who can not afford to be healthy, and it sounds horrible. But there must be a reason why this is the preferred way. So: Enlighten me.

Down here (USA), we do not like government intrusion. We became a nation, leaving a monarchy (England). We do not like the government we tells how to live. We are able to manage our own lives. Unfortunately, some people fail to manage their lives, for whatever reason. The welfare system here has created generations of lazy dependents. U.S. Those who bust our butts to provide for our lives and families who want to support lazy people he will never be responsible, or self-sufficient. It's like raising children that are not yours. It is not MY fault that your ass down! While no one "does" work they do not. It's one thing if I "choose" to help someone who "can not" work, is very different, when I say "I have to" help someone that "no work. You can see the difference, right?
