report health

Benedict Lust 1902 acquired the rights to the term naturopathy and founded the American School of Naturopathy in New York, the first university in the world dedicated to naturopathy. During his career Lust was harassed by the authorities and medical associations and was arrested 19 times by New York and federal authorities. He continued to fight for the right to use non-drug therapies until his death in 1945.

A particularly damaging event for lust and his university was in 1910 when the Carnegie Foundation published the Flexner Report. In this report, no health care system away from chemical / surgical model was deemed unacceptable Americans. The report, drafted and approved by the American Medical Society and the drug industry in the government as a result of the enactment of stricter control laws delivery of medicine and health care. Great fear developed, such as doctors, deviating from the mandates could end ostracized, even imprisoned.

Colleges and financial interests followed the development of medicine and doctors trained to use them. Since the initiative was modern medical centers using penicillin, synthetic drugs, antibiotics and corticosteroids, and thousands of pharmaceutical concoctions. Unfortunately, the Flexner Report was deeply flawed and chemistry has not cured of the disease. The results of this are the dependency of drugs and surgical procedures.

Lust continued work to validate Naturopathy until he died in 1945. To stay out of danger of naturopaths terminology changed as customers become patient and the prescription became the query. Finally, the laws have been relaxed and traditional naturopaths (NDs) and (NMD) can focus on the philosophy of natural health lust as a lawyer, provided they step lightly. They can choose from the following natural and health care practice in different ways.

 • Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
 • Botanical Medicine
 • Homeopathy
 • Chiropractic
 • Nutrition, as vegetarian food diets, fasting, abstaining from alcohol and sugars, etc.
 • Physical medicine and massage techniques, physiotherapy, sports medicine, exercise and hydrotherapy.
 • natural cure, a range of therapies based on natural elements like sunlight and fresh air.
 • Psychological counseling, such as meditation, relaxation, stress management.
 • minor surgery, natural childbirth and intravenous therapy.
 • The color and sound therapy
 • Iridology
 • Kinesiology
 • Public health measures and hygiene
 • Reflexology
 • natural food supplements whole vitamins, minerals and natural substances
 • Yoga and medicine in India Ayruvedic

Benedict Lust We owe a huge thank you to keep the dream of living nature during those Cloudy years. Although not approved by the government or the AMA each of these models are moving back into the mainstream of health care. People who choose them are sick less and require little medical intervention. The cost of health care is an issue that all Americans bear. The health care and alternative medicine is the key to reducing that cost.

• My biggest FEAR in life is becoming dependent.
• The idea of depending on my boss, a medical doctor, expensive insurance or the government for my health care does not feel right.
