New law to extend young adults’ health coverage under parents’ plan
The new health reform law will allow parents in most cases to keep an adult child on their health plan until he or she turns 26. The White House issued the rules for the provision last week. The rules go into effect Sept. 23. But that doesn’t mean parents will be marking the date on their calendars.
