Where would money for socialized health care come from?

Say we did end up having a single pay health care system where rates for doctors and medical services are set, where would the money come from?

think of it this way. you pitch in to pay for the care. 2 others dont. all of you get care.

tax payers pay for the care. illegals dont. everyone gets care. there are a LOT of illegals. and if the ignorant and uneducated clog up the system because they dont know that antibiotics cant be used for a cold, then you wait that much longer.

at this point in time it goes this way: either you pay a LOT for health care, or pay a set fee and wait a LONG time. healthcare isnt free. tax payers pay for it. its free for those who dont pay and if they dont pay they abuse the system. do you really want millions of illegals abusing the system? more than they already do now?
