BYB or responsible breeder?

Would you consider someone who breeds to the standard UKC or AKC dogs, insures they are clear of health defects such as hip or elbow by a vet, sceens prospective owners and keeps contacts and records a BYB just because they fail to title there dogs? If they only showed there dogs a few times or only had one titled stud and had dams who had titled parents do they become BYBs?
Where is the line drawn?
I have seen alot of BYB’s and top titled dogs on pet ad websites, it seems the internet has made it next to impossible to know if a breeder is in it for the money only as these sites don’t really care.

they investigate and make sure before they allow anyone to advertise on their website, that they are reputable breeders,,,
anyone on this website is reputable and usually a show person..and fully have all their dogs AKC registered and a line of titled championed dogs to back up the pedigrees, and the dogs are fully tested, and health certificates also….and these breeders will not just sell to anyone that approaches them to buy a dog……..

I have 9 Min, Schnauzers in my kennel that are champions…

A reputable breeder will have champions in the kennel, but this does not mean all the pups will become champions…no one can guarantee that one…..

I have an Akita Female, that showed 2 wks ago, first time showing, she took her class…she is gonna be a good one.

and now I have a 14 mo old Newfoundland, that I inherited from my son, he has already taken 12 shows, 4 best in show..

he will be a great one…

BYB’s do not breed to improve the standard, they do it for the money, why else, would they breed mix breed dogs and sell for such a ridiculous price….and some with pure bred dogs the same thing, just breeding without champions and without caring if it is to improve the standards, BYB’s and puppy mills, will advertise and say alot of things to sell their dogs, do not trust them……….a CKC registered dog is worthless, as CKC will register any and everything that will pay the price to get a piece of paper on a dog…….BYB’s are not reputable at all…..its for the money, not the love of the dogs, or even one breed, if it was, why would they sell mixed breeds and try to pawn off dogs as pure breds with CKC papers..
