United Health Individual Plans

Afraid of choosing health insurance bad !!!!!!?
Instead of "Sicko" and read to many horror stories about refusals healthcare, outstanding claims, etc, etc, it really scared me to pick an individual plan. I keep hearing that most of these "horror" stories, usually involving HMO. I go with a PPO, but yet I am left very nervous. I am a healthy 30 years old, but really I have to fall on a type of individual insurance. I was thinking to go with BlueCross of Illinois, but I keep hearing (and reading) awful things about BlueCross BlueShield. Anybody have any advice? Should I go with Humana, Aetna, United? I do not know what to do?!
well let me clear the air here …. Michael Moore tells just one side of the story. I know this is a fact emphasized by a person who has insurance through the company where I work and am familiar with that persons case. simply lied. HMO everyone hates because they simply do not use them correctly. I have an HMO and I love it. if you live in a rural area of its obviously not for you. baseline, Payment makes WAY more out of pocket in a PPO, then it would be an HMO. read and bad comments on good insurance company out there each. not toward out there to scam. Most of the press is the result of people who are simply ignorant and know how to use their benefits. does an insurance company just cause deny claims they want. theres a reason for it, otherwise it would not enter into the business. if you're so scared about it, contact an agent in your area who specializes in this and has a license to point you in the right direction.
