Don’t we need better health care for our Veterans?

I think the current system really needs work!!! Our veterans should be able to go to any doctor they want and be treated at a hospital they choose and one that is close to their home!! My father in law has to drive over two hours to a VA Hospital when he has to have a procedure or surgery. And if unable to drive or he doesn’t want to ask anyone to take him, he has to ride on a bus and they will not allow them to bring a drink on the bus and it is very hot!! It is just not right! If he has to have an outpatient surgery, then he has to ride over 2hrs back home and no one feels like doing that after surgery, but they do not have a choice!
Our Veterans should have the best care!! They deserve it!! They put their lives at risk for our Freedom and then they come home and are treated poorly by the health care system! Do you agree and do you have any suggestions on how to make the system better? Voice your stories and opinions!

I agree 100%.
However, the problem is much bigger than that. We need better health care for our ENTIRE country. I mean, c’mon…like greedy, corporate HMOs and Big Pharma are the answer? Yeah, riiiight!
